In September 2022 GoTo acquired Miradore, the Mobile Device Management (MDM) specialist to provide an all-in-one integrated IT management experience for small and midsize businesses. Our Digital Support Team is looking for a Technical Writer who is curious about technology and willing to become an expert in Mobile Device Management domain!

Your Day to Day

As a Technical Writer, you will be working on:

  • Create, publish and maintain professional digital content (articles, user guides, etc.) focused on helping our customers self-assist.

  • Collaborate closely with product, development, and customer care to prepare for releases and improve the customer experience.

As a Technical Writer, your background will look like:

  • Advanced English writing and grammar skills

  • 2+ years of experience creating self-help resources.

  • Tech-savvy person with the ability to simplify complex technical aspects for our customers.

  • Proven interpersonal skills developing strong relationships with your teammates and other cross-functional teams.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently under limited supervision in a remote working environment.

  • Experience with structured content (DITA XML preferred)

  • Experience with Git, JIRA and Atlassian products (optional)

  • Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) for knowledge base content (optional)

You can work remotely but we appreciate your ability to visit the Budapest office occasionally or at least visit once during the introduction period.
